Independent Operator Contracted Tortilla Route

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the daily delivery of fresh tortillas to established Major Grocery Chains and Independent Grocers.

• 50% Driving to customer locations and unloading product.
• 15 %Restocking shelves and rotating product.
• 10% Invoicing and issuing credits to customers.
• 15 %Loading product into truck and counting inventory.
• 10% Completion of all associated paperwork for your Business.

1. Servicing accounts per Chain’s service standards on a weekly basis to ensure ample, fresh product is stocked for all customers assigned to the route.

2. Planogram integrity, Rotate, restock product on shelves to prevent product from exceeding expiration date, and to ensure freshness.

3. Accurate entry of quantities and prices when issuing invoices and credit memos to customers. Verify quantities and correct product codes on DSD tickets and receiving documents and have receiver sign invoices and/or receiving documents.

4. Count truck's inventory for accuracy and verify product transfers before signing. The Business Owner is responsible for all product loaded to his/her truck

5. Business Owners are responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license and insurance requirements under contract specifications.

6. Participating in all Promotional Activities including, selling in, execution of Displays or incremental space in all Chains.

REQUIREMENTS:

*NDA and Credit Application filled out.

*LLC or Corporation (all associated paperwork needed)

*Delivery Vehicle with Valid Driver’s License and Certificate of Insurance.

*Storage Unit (if not picked up at Distribution Center)

*Android Phone and approved Printer.

*$2000 Security Deposit towards inventory.

Skills needed:

• Independent, self-motivated, and organized.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions, (i.e., downloading documents, email, internet, Microsoft words, etc.)
• Work independently and display a professional demeanor representing clients.
• Effective communicating and problem-solving skills.
• 1+ years’ experience in DSD
• Personal access to functional tools such as Smart phone or Smart pad and computer.
• Be able to lift to 35lbs, walk, stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
