GP Administrator

Job Description Statement

The Microsoft Dynamics GP Administrator supports applications associated with and including Microsoft Dynamics GP. This role also serves as a key liaison, trainer and business process expert for ERP systems, supporting all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics GP and internal user requests. This candidate will work closely with Accounting and IT to support Dynamics GP, third party products, and inbound and outbound integrations with other software solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting Microsoft Dynamics-GP environments including Test and Dev

• Supporting multiple GP Companies

  • Support Integrations between GP and other 3rd party Business Systems
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Applying fixes, service packs, tax updates, and version upgrades, and new software installation

• Manage Customizations, Reports and Integration tools, Modified Forms and Reports, Extender, SSRS, and Smart List Builder, SmartConnect Integrations, SSIS

• Administer security roles and tasks for all Microsoft Dynamics-GP environments

• Work closely with OLE finance users to support day to day activity including end-user training and break-fix issues in Dynamics GP

• Maintain “How To” documentation and Standard Operating Procedures

Required Skills

• Extensive knowledge with Dynamics GP, including Manufacturing module, and the list of the 3rd party tools: Mekorma, Accountable Forms, Ethotech, Rockton Software, Myradis, eOne SmartConnect and Extender windows and tables, Professional Advantage, Nolan IC, Papersave, EDI, etc.

• Understanding or exposure DSD Food Business Model preferred

• Minimum 5 years of implementing Dynamics GP

• GP 2016 required, later experience is a plus
